Home (?) at last . . .
Sorry for the post delay, won’t have internet at home for another week, so I’m down the street using the wifi at the school while Jason does his admissions stuff. I can’t thank ya’ll enough (like my appropriate use of ya’ll, Tom?) for your hilarious posts – we were overdue for a good laugh. The house is about 3/4 done, I’ll upload some pics when all the boxes are put away and the floors are swept. Henry is loving watching the squirrels in the back yard, we don’t want to let him out for a few more days yet, but once we do, I’m sure we’ll find a decimated squirrel carcass placed lovingly on our back steps. Puddles is right at home of course, she can be at home anywhere as long as her smelly green chair is there waiting for her.
To the newlyweds, I just hung my campy little Multnomah Falls thermometer on my kitchen window this morning, so thanks for helping me identify what EFFING HOT looks like on a thermometer.
To KDM and the boy posse, I hung the star Willy made for me on the bathroom mirror so I’ll see it every morning.
To P – Found your note in the box o’ kitchen stuff – made me cry – so thanks, I think? ;o)
To K & C – Our new framed pic is the only photo that’s made the grade so far, thankfully I can see what we look like with Jason’s face shaved and me without a do-rag on my head!
BM, got anything I can put in my corncob pipe?
More later –

Phew-thank goodness you are OK! I just Fedexed 500 azalea starts to you, so you will feel at home in your new yard. And, I threw in some bonus rhododendrons. Oh, and we thought of you last night while chowing on ribs at Podnah’s-it was so bleak without you!

Shoot – now that you are actually getting settled in your new home, we all have to admit that it is for real……see on your journey we all could continue to believe you were just on vacation.
Willy will be pleased to know that you will think of him each day….both you and Jason frequently visit his conversations….now to tell him you moved…

I am sending you some Dead Sea Salt, it will remind you of me, it will bring you power, luck and wisdom beyond all others. I am also sending you a carton of salt cigarettes and a bottle of imitation Draakar, I use the authentic Draakar. I am designing a new set of knee pads, these new pads have the ability to spark when enough friction is applied. I have decided to call them, “The Blankenship.”
